Hannah has been nominated for “Coloured Show Horse or Pony of the Year” – a huge honour that recognises the hard work, love, and partnership she’s built with her incredible horse, Gambler (SD Red Gambler). Where It All Began
Hannah hails from Luton and proudly embraces her English and Jamaican heritage. Horses have been part of her life from the very beginning thanks to her mum’s love of horses.
A Remarkable Journey with Gambler
Hannah’s partnership with her horse Gambler is nothing short of inspiring. She bought him when she was five months pregnant with her eldest son as a semi-feral, unhandled three-year-old colt. Through patience, trust and unwavering dedication, she broke him to ride and drive herself.
Over the years, Gambler has become an all-round superstar! He hunts, jumps, rides side-saddle, and stands at stud. He’s triple graded with three societies and recently earned Elite Graded Status with CHAPS UK. Together, they’ve won at every major show in the UK, including Royal Windsor, Great Yorkshire, and the Royal International.
But for Hannah, it’s not just about the ribbons. “He’s my best friend, my therapist and the constant in my life since the day he chose me to be his human.”
Looking Ahead
Next year, Hannah and Gambler are planning to complete their bucket list of dream shows. From HOYS qualification (for the fifth consecutive year!) to Hickstead Derby, Royal Welsh and Royal Highland. They’ll also make time for what they both love most which is the beach and fun rides.
