Kelsall International Horse Trials

Very exciting our first 2* International. Knew it wasn’t close to Devon but after a fight with the M6 toll we made it safely there and back. Vinnie struggles with dressage (not my easiest either) so we managed a reasonable test. The showjumping was rather impressive and we most unluckily rolled the last pole of the triple which was a shame but aced the XC bang on time too. Fantastic run. 

Bicton BS Showjumps

It was the youth team (Annie & Shantis) first outing to the prestigious Bicton Arena where the main arena and scary big jumps were set out. So proud of both! They travelled well, jumped superbly and not a fear of a filler or wing.

Just in time for another training session for Vinnie before our next run with the big dressage arena and white boards .. improved again!

Osberton International at 2*S
Another long distance from Devon but worth it! Very exciting run with our dressage improving another super clear XC but 2 poles showjumping so I know we can do better!

Bicton International Horse Trials was very special. Our first at 2*L and first event in the fantastic EGO7 riding boots that Redpost delivered! We had a fantastic time the XC was a challenging course that Vinnie flew over. Dressage & Showjumping proved a bit stressful to us both so we will be back with this improved later this year.

Bit of a quieter period now with lots to work on!
