Ascot isn’t just a day at the races, it’s an unforgettable experience and an exciting opportunity to connect, celebrate and be part of something iconic. This year’s event was no exception.

Our guest Cynthia, The Horse Lawyer, shares their reflections on returning to Ascot after more than fifteen years, this time with a fresh perspective. Invited by Lydia Heywood, founder of Cool Ridings following support from Gorgeous Getaway. The VIP area was beautifully hosted, adding that extra sparkle to an already spectacular day.

“July I went to what was a very different Ascot to when I remember. Last time I went, I was at the Royal Enclosure. It was very formal. It was amazing, that was some fifteen plus years ago.

This recent Ascot has been amazing again, in a different way at the Windsor Enclosure. Quite a relaxed environment and, I'm really grateful to have received an invitation from Lydia Heywood who's the founder of Cool Ridings and she's also an Event Rider representing Jamaica. It was great to bring along my husband, too.

The icing of the cake was having bet only once that day - my horse won!
