RDA Championships

Receiving an invitation to the RDA Championships at Hartpury was such a lovely surprise for Lydia! Read about her trip to cheer on Daphne below:

Jess and her two daughters had reached out via email after following and enjoying our Cool Ridings content over the years. I had the absolute pleasure of cheering on 11-year-old rider Daphne, who rides a wonderful Fell pony called Jolene.

The calm, confident mindset Daphne demonstrated in the arena was something you might expect from an experienced adult professional and together, they achieved 2nd place in Show Jumping Level 2 and 3rd place in their Dressage test! A day I’ll never forget! I’m very grateful to have been invited to witness true champions and be one of the crew.

It is always heartwarming to meet families who are cheering on our Members from their own homes and even more special when we get the opportunity to turn those online connections into real-life ones!
