Rupert’s Eventing Recap

Young Event Rider, Rupert Hyde, has had an action packed start to the season. The support Cool Ridings secured from Bicton Arena and Redpost has been extended to long standing Member Rupert Hyde to ensure he has access to the tools he needs to succeed.

Moreton Horse Trials
15th March - a chilly but bright day for our U18 Novice run. Dressage was not bad for the first run; especially with a loose horse galloping behind the arena! We had a clear round showjumping followed by a quick outfit change for XC featuring new kit from Redpost and Stuebben hybrid XC boots! We went clear and finished in 9th place.

Barbury Castle
22nd March - I walked quite a robust but very exciting cross country course on arrival. Dressage improved and we both felt a little more relaxed. Showjumping clear again, felt a beautiful round. Vinnie sailed around clear and on time. We are improving! Pleased to say the Stuebben hybrid XC boots were fantastic again.

Bicton
27th March - Bicton Arena held an unaffiliated dressage event, including FEI tests too. Perfect answer to the change of size arena and practising what will not long be our next test. Smart and professional enough to feel like you are at your next event, quiet and calm enough to think things through, learn and perfect your test.
