A Unique Perspective

Brian is new to the Cool Ridings team for 2023 and hopes to bring a different perspective to the team through his links with the military. He is an active British Army reservist serving with the Royal Logistic Corps, a member of the Army Development Team (Eventing), and is an executive committee member for the Army Equitation Association (Media & Sponsorship Officer). 

As a day job, Brian is a scientist (microbiology) currently completing his PhD at Imperial College London. Through his military connections, Brian hopes to inspire others how the military has supported his riding and the (equine...or not!) careers available in the military.

Brian has aspirations for riding for Team Hong Kong for eventing despite having only picked up horse riding in 2017. He is currently partnered with a 6 yo Irish Sports Horse (Jay) and looking to steadily move up the levels in the 2023 season.
